Rob started in the mining industry in 1992 where he completed an apprenticeship as a mechanical fitter and continued in that trade, as well as leadership roles until 2008 in both surface and underground mining before joining Riklan in 2008 as a Training Consultant.
During that time Rob was involved in emergency response for 10 years and volunteer fire brigades for 5 years. Rob has thorough knowledge and technical expertise in the field of Emergency Response training. His qualifications include Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and multiple emergency response certificates to obtain Certificate III in Public Safety (Fire Fighting and Emergency Operations), Certificate IV in Emergency Care and St Johns Industrial Medic.
A bit of a tip for when you are around Rob is that fish live in tanks, bottles are for coke and O2 comes in cylinders.
