Riklan is a registered safety and emergency response training provider and consultancy for mining, construction, and high-risk industries. We help workplaces create and maintain safe work environments and respond effectively in emergencies.
Our story began underground in 1990. Our founder, Mick, Nollas was busy dodging rocks and running cables at KCGM’s Mt Charlotte mine. After eight years, Mick found himself drawn to the mine rescue team. He loved the thrill of responding in an emergency, and soon, he realised his greatest joy was keeping people safe.
Mick was so passionate about safety that in 2002, he founded his own safety organisation, Riklan. His approach? Practical, straightforward safety and emergency response education. Michael’s philosophy was obviously right on the money, because Riklan grew into a fully-accredited Registered Training Organisation (#51994) with ASQA registration and ISO 9001 certification.
From emergency response preparation and preparedness, to recovery training, we helped companies step up their safety, meet compliance standards, and improve team performance. All while sharing some wild stories you won’t hear anywhere else!
