Description | This course is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines in an emergency situation. Cost: $100.00 per person |

Purpose | This course applies to all personnel who may be required to provide CPR in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. |

Duration | The course will be conducted over 1/2 Day (4 Hours). |

Entry Requirements | Photo ID must be presented on arrival at the training premises. It is a requirement of this course that for the practical demonstration of CPR, you must be able to kneel comfortably on the floor. Language, literacy and numeracy requirements from the unit are: |

Assessment Requirements | The course will be based on theoretical sessions, equipment demonstrations and practical exercises. Participants who are deemed competent will receive a Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by RIKLAN Emergency Management Services (RTO 51994) under the Australian Qualifications Framework. |

Delivery Mode | Face to face and practical hands-on training conducted by an experienced Emergency Services instructor with strong knowledge of relevant Legislation, Australian Standards and Codes of Practice. |

Materials or Equipment Required | Participants must wear long pants, long sleeve shirts and enclosed footwear. |

Notes | If you are a new or continuing student undertaking Nationally recognised training, you need a USI in order to receive your Qualification or Statement of Attainment for this training program. |
