Course Reviews

Straight from our students

“It is my pleasure to write a testimonial for Michael Nollas and his team at Riklan Emergency Management Services. As Riklan not only leaders in the emergency management sector, they are leaders in the community selflessly giving back to people/ charitable organisations in need.

Riklan Emergency Management Services has been my preferred trainer of choice, both professionally and personally, for the past 17 years. The Owner, Michael Nollas, has dedicated his life towards establishing RIKLAN as an industry leader when it comes to Emergency Management, and it shows. Their trainers are highly sought after worldwide, and the professionalism of the management and administrative teams add to the success of this business. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending RIKLAN to anyone looking for assistance, advice or training to ensure the safety of valuable lives in their organisation.

When you deal with Riklan Emergency Management Services, you deal with deal with a professional business that treat you like family.”

“Having worked closely with Riklan for many years, the standout attribute that Riklan demonstrates is their professional “can-do” attitude.

Riklan are a customer focused and solutions driven organisation who have become a service provider of choice. Riklan is a business that works hard to always exceed our expectations and consistently delivers.

Mick and the team from Riklan have shown that their humble beginnings and entrenched industry knowledge has not been forgotten as the business has continued to grow.

I would not hesitate to recommend them for any upcoming Emergency Response or Safety Management project work.”

“Riklan have not only had the capacity and capability to assist but have done so in a less traditional client / contractor manner, preferring rather to foster a partnership type arrangement to accommodate the needs of a small private organisation as we transition from construction into operations. In other words they “get us” and are always available to provide expert advice, technical support and resources commensurate with the projects developing risk profile.

Our relationship with Riklan is one of mutual trust through commitment, strength through professionalism and reliability through affirmative actions. This is made possible by the unwavering dedication of the Riklan General Manager, Ali Loton and the owner and Director Michael Nollas. We consider oursevles fortunate to have entered into a successful partnership with Riklan and look forward to many more rewarding years together.”

Taking part in the BG4 Search and Rescue course was an incredible and eye-opening experience. The content was well-structured, highly relevant, and delivered in a way that was both practical and deeply engaging.

A shout-out to Tony, whose leadership and instruction were outstanding throughout the course. His depth of knowledge, calm professionalism, and approachable teaching style made a real difference. He created an environment where everyone felt supported, capable, and inspired to rise to the challenge.

The course struck a balance between theory and hands-on training, giving us not only the skills but also the mindset needed for real-world search and rescue scenarios. I walked away with a much stronger sense of confidence, preparedness, and respect for the responsibility that comes with this work.

Massive thanks to the Riklan team and especially Tony for such a well-delivered and empowering experience. Highly recommended to anyone considering a role in SAR or simply wanting to build resilience and response capability. (Not for the faint hearted!)
