| Description | This Nationally recognised course is designed for anyone who may be required to manage or remove asbestos and will equip you with the knowledge and skills to safely plan and undertake the removal of non-friable asbestos.. Any worker removing more than 10 square metres of non-friable asbestos must be appropriately trained. |

| Purpose | This course will cover preparing the removal site and setting up the asbestos work area, removal of the non-friable asbestos, carrying out decontamination processes and cleaning up the work area. |

| Assessment Requirements | The course will be based on theoretical sessions, equipment demonstrations and practical exercises. Participants who are deemed competent will receive a Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by RIKLAN Emergency Management Services (RTO 51994) under the Australian Qualifications Framework. |

| Delivery Mode | Face to face and practical hands-on training conducted by an experienced Trainer/Assessor with strong knowledge of relevant Legislation, Australian Standards and Codes of Practice. |
