This course aims to ensure that people required to operate a 4WD vehicle during the course of their employment are able to safely operate the vehicle, apply environmental management techniques, participate in vehicle recovery techniques and ensure the safety of themselves, passengers, other road users and pedestrians.

Spill Response
This course will give students the relevant skills and knowledge to contain small workplace emergencies such as a chemical spill that can be controlled using workplace personal protective clothing and equipment, and a small spill kit.
Topics include:
• Preparing for emergency situations
• Identifying and assessing an emergency
• Safely confining emergencies
• Using initial response equipment
• Reporting on the facility’s emergency response
Examples of small emergencies may include:
• Small fires controlled with a fire extinguisher
• Chemical spills managed using PPE and spill kits
• Minor vehicle incidents where there is no significant injury or damage
This unit has been developed in line with Australian Standards AS3745 and AS4083 and is designed for workplace occupants such as employees, contractors, students, or residents.
Work as a Safety Observer/Spotter
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to work safely as a safety observer/spotter in civil construction. This includes identifying and managing worksite hazards, establishing exclusion zones and observing work activities to monitor the safety of the work environment. It applies to those working in operational roles. They generally work under supervision to undertake a prescribed range of functions involving known routines and procedures and take some responsibility for the quality of work outcomes.

Drug & Alcohol Testing
This course covers the skills and knowledge required to confirm collection requirements, prepare individual and equipment and collect specimens via urine and/or oral and breath testing following the special procedures that apply for drugs of abuse testing.

Conduct civil construction skid steer loader operations
The Skid Steer Loader Operator course provides information and guided practice that will equip experienced operators with the skills necessary to demonstrate competence to the minimum national certification standards and to lay the foundation skills of new operators so that they can, in a safe manner, continue to improve their skills and proficiency whilst operating the machine.
The course is aligned to the nationally recognised unit RIIMPO318F- Conduct civil construction skid steer loader operations, which specifies the outcomes required including planning and preparation for work, the conduct of operational checks, the safe and effective operation of the machine for a range of mandatory tasks, the fitting, use and removal of attachments and operator maintenance activities.
Work Safely at Heights – Refresher
This refresher course is aimed at those who have previously completed the RIIWHS204D/RIIWHS204E nationally accredited training and are required to carry out work at heights.

This course is aimed at participants who are required to work safely at heights in the Resources and Infrastructure industries. The course covers identifying work requirements, procedures and instructions, identifying and addressing potential risks/hazards and environmental issues, accessing and installing equipment, performing working at heights and cleaning up the work area.
Supervise Asbestos Removal
This Nationally recognised course is designed for personnel who are required to supervise and direct employees in the removal process for non-friable asbestos containing material (ACM).
Remove Non-Friable Asbestos
This Nationally recognised course is designed for anyone who may be required to manage or remove asbestos and will equip you with the knowledge and skills to safely plan and undertake the removal of non-friable asbestos.. Any worker removing more than 10 square metres of non-friable asbestos must be appropriately trained.
