Description

This unit covers the competency required to work as a member of a non-specialist team under supervision when responding to an aviation incident.

Duration

The course will be conducted over 4 days.

Entry Requirements

PUAFIR220 Respond to isolated structure fire (must be completed before a Statement of Attainment can be issued)
OR
PUAFIR203 Respond to urban fire (must be completed before a Statement of Attainment can be issued)

Qualification Requirements

Each successful participant will be issued a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for:
PUAFIR305 Respond to aviation incidents (general)

Delivery Mode

Face to face and practical hands-on training conducted by an experienced Emergency Services instructor with strong knowledge of relevant legislation and Australian Standards.

Materials or Equipment Required

Students must wear long pants, long sleeve shirts and steel cap boots.

Notes

If you are a new or continuing student undertaking nationally recognised training, you need a USI in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment for this unit.
