Supervise Asbestos Removal

This Nationally recognised course is designed for personnel who are required to supervise and direct employees in the removal process for non-friable asbestos containing material (ACM).

This course will cover planning the supervision for the removal of asbestos, developing an Asbestos Removal Control Plan (ARCP) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), oversee the preparation for asbestos removal and supervise compliant air monitoring testing, supervise the removal of asbestos and decontamination processes.

The course will be conducted over 1 day (8 hours).

Photo ID must be presented on arrival at the training premises.

Language, literacy and numeracy requirements from the unit are:
- Writing is required to the level of completing written assessments.
- Numeracy is required to enable the determination of similar activities.

Pre-Requisite: CPCCDE3014 - Remove Non-Friable Asbestos

The course will be based on theoretical sessions, equipment demonstrations and practical exercises.

Participants who are deemed competent will receive a Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by RIKLAN Emergency Management Services (RTO 51994) under the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Face to face and practical hands-on training conducted by an experienced Trainer/Assessor with strong knowledge of relevant Legislation, Australian Standards and Codes of Practice.

Participants must wear long pants, long sleeve shirts and enclosed footwear.

If you are a new or continuing student undertaking Nationally recognised training, you will need a USI in order to receive your Qualification or Statement of Attainment for this training program.
